Village of Hondon de Las Nieves
Hondon de las Nieves is a small charming village in the counrtyside of Elche, Costa Blanca South. Very popular these days is the Hondon Valley, rich in vegetation, vineyards and almond groves. Close to all local shops and supermarket, pubs, restaurants and Church. Also there is a municipal Sports center (polideportivo) with pool, tennis courts and restaurant. This area is popular with cyclists, and walkers alike.

Finca La Solana is a 250 year old farm house, surrounded by almond, grape and olive orchards. Located on the south facing mountain side of La Solana close to the idyllic village of Hondon de las Nieves. Elche 20 minutes and Alicante just a 30 minutes drive, the coast can be reached within a 40 minute drive. If normal life is stressful then this is a great location to relax and recuperate.This beautiful farm house in 35,000m2. (10,000m2 dedicated to the house), Many years ago, all the local grapes were pressed, and barreled here. Today, its use leans more towards leisure, however, each August the almonds are collected and later in December, the olives. The Hondon valley is popular with cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. It is rich is grape, olive and almond produce and at its altitude of 650mtrs the air is clear and invigorating. Great mountain and valley views.Completely reformed in 2003 with the best quality materials and fittings carefully retaining many of the original features. This finca with approximately 500m2 built stands within 35,000m2 of land with many fruit, olive, pine and almond trees. The house is approximately 250 years old. Central heating with radiators in all rooms, fly screens on all windows. There are two large chimneys ensures that your winter stay is a warm one. Outside there is a wc/shower room within the 2000m2 area dedicated to private garden and pool area where there is a split level terrace of 650m2 and a large 12x6 rectangular pool, a summer kitchen equipped including a wood burning BBQ. Parking for many cars and plenty of outside lighting.The house has spacious and comfortable accommodation. The dining/sitting room is very spacious, with a wood burning fire and 5mtr high walls. The kitchen is fully equipped. Large reception hall with 5m walls. Center hall with large 2m2 open fireplace and beamed ceilings. Large 40m2 bedroom can sleep four. Spacious fully fitted bathroom with bath, hydromasaje shower. Separate wc, fully fitted laundry. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms, one double and the other with two single beds, both rooms lead to a sitting room with gallery. ( A part of the house, not included in the above description, has been closed for private use but will not be occupied during your stay. The above description has plenty of accommodation, approximately 350m2 for guest use). |
